Yadgir: Love and trust should not be lost in the name of
law and rights, said Surpur taluk JMFC Judge Manjula Undi.
She was speaking at a legal awareness camp organized by
Surpur Taluk Legal Service Authority, Surpur Bar Association, Arundhati Law
College at Hasanapur in Surpur taluk on Sunday.
Instead of encouraging struggle, law must think
encouraging people to lead a harmonious life. When it comes to right of
ancestral property to women, if daughters get it with love and affection it is
very good.
But, it would not be good to bring the family’s name to
streets in the name of property rights, she said.
Surpur Bar Association President Arvind Kumar Kalburgikar
said that the medical and law fields have lost the earlier glory. Today a
sistuation has arisen where people work only for the sake of money, he
regretted.
Senior Advocate Venkatreddy Bonal, Jayalkalitha, S.Siddaramappa,
G.S.Patil, Arundhati Law College Principal Rajendrakumar Yadava and Uday Singh
were present on the occasion.
