NSS Camp inaugurated at Mudnoor

 Yadgir: A weel-long NSS special camp of Kambhavi Government First Grade College was inaugurated at the adopted village mudnoor near Kambhavi in Surpur taluk on Thursday.

After inaugurating the camp the Grama Panchayat chairman Somangouda bekinal said that the special camp had been organized because till now, no Government or social organization had come forward to help the villagers. And the village had been neglected without basic amenities he explained.

Chief guest S.Prabhuling Said NSS camps instill discipline, orderliness and improve awareness about the rural people among students. He also called upon villagers to cooperate for the success of the NSS camps.

Delivering the keynote address, NSS Camp office Chandrashakar Kokal said that the participants of the camp would be made environmentally aware. They would also undertake tasks to improve the cleanliness of the village, he added.

Principal Sidanna P.Bedagonda, Lecturer Ramesh Kola, Malanna Karibhavi were present. Chandrashakar welcomed the gathering and Yakanna Patil, NSS volunteer, proposed a vote of thanks. Several leaders and residents of the village were also present.
